Synonyms:
Riesling x Gutedel, (former Müller-Thurgau)
Wine:
Slight Muscat flavour, round, soft. This variety owes its name
to the Swiss botanist Hermann Müller from the canton of Thurgau.
Rivaner wines are generally low in acidity
and round with a slightly Muscat-like bouquet and mild taste.
Apart from Prädikat wine, the Rivaner should preferably
be drunk as new wine (vins de primeur).
