Viiniexpo HelsinkiMore Prizes for Austrian Wines(AWMB, March 2003) - Another success for Austrian wines has been announced, this time at the Viiniexpo 2003 in Finland, the largest Scandinavian wine fair, which named the “Wines of the Year 2003”. The positive result for Austria’s wines was especially evident from the sweet wine category, where Austrian producers conquered the places 2, 3, and 4, leaving the first spot for an Italian wine. Famous sweet wine-producing countries as Hungary and France did not appear at the top at all. The results in Detail: 1.
