WINES FROM AUSTRIA IN NEW DELHIThe Indian Wine Society, the Austrian Wine Marketing Board & the Austrian Embassy and Trade Commission present the first ever Austrian Wine Makers Dinner in India at the rooftop restaurant The Belvedere of Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi on May 3rd 2001 at 8.00 p.m. Unique also, because the wines will be paired with traditional Indian dishes. A Cuisine Crafted ™ menu by Rocky Mohan will be served, and will feature specialities from various regions of India: Kashmir, Goa, Avadh, Chettinade, Mughal. As a part of the four course meal, the main course will be served in a special Thali. Michael Thurner of the Austrian Wine Marketing Board will present 11 wines from the fabled wineries of Winzer Krems, Malteser Ritterorden, Freie Weingärtner Wachau, Undhof Salomon, Höpler, Lenz Moser, Stift Klosterneuburg, Arachon TFXT, Elfenhof, Münzenrieder and VOP Wines.
